A Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Program at Joseph Sibilly Elementary School

At Joseph Sibilly Elementary School, we believe that fostering a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment is key to student success. Our Buzz the Bee's Schoolwide Expectations program (formerly called the Sibilly Stars PBIS Rewards Program) is designed to create a school culture where all students feel safe, supported, and motivated to achieve their best.

Grounded in the principles of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), this initiative promotes a shared understanding of behavioral expectations throughout our school community. Through Buzz the Bee's guiding principles, students learn the importance of being Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Succeed in every aspect of their school day.

By reinforcing positive behaviors and providing clear, consistent expectations, we empower students to make good choices and contribute to a positive school environment. Together, as a hive, we can create a place where learning thrives, and every student can soar to success!
