Mission and Vision

Our Vision

Our vision is to create the best learning environment for all students to succeed.

Our Mission

Our mission is to teach and guide all students as they mature intellectually, academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. We also strive to help students develop an awareness and appreciation for cultures, traditions, and the environment. We continually seek ways to build higher-order thinking skills by integrating research-based instructional practices using technology. We encourage parental and community involvement to assist us in finding ways to keep students engaged, on the right track, and to become successful citizens in our community.

Our Values

The values of the Joseph Sibilly Elementary School are in alignment with the values for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The three values are:

  1. Be Respectful - Being respectful would entail students using kind words and actions, raising their hands to speak, and using level 1-2 voices when given permission to speak.

  2. Be Responsible - Students are required to do their best, complete and submit all assignments, and listen carefully.

  3. Be Successful - Students are expected to strive for success by being prepared for class having their homework and school supplies, and following directions the first time given.

School Song

Praise was due long ago to a man who was so fine.

A man who believed in the golden rule and was so very kind.

Mr. Sibilly was the best of all; He gave us nice green land.

He gave us a field for playing ball and room for our building plan.

Joseph Sibilly is a great school; It is the very best one.

We will always follow the rules and work hard and have fun.

Joseph Sibilly is the BEST; We’ll live up to his name.

We’ll try hard on every test and play fair in every game.
